Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs & materials promote lifelong learning

STEM kits and technology items build necessary skills. Borrow these from the Library of Things (where borrowing rules are listed for each item).

The library also has sets of STEM equipment for in-library programs as well as a 3D printer (for all sorts of projects) and a Memory Lab (to convert photographs and videos to digital formats).

All STEM programs fill up very quickly! Keep an eye out on the library’s website and social media – and subscribe to the library email newsletter to get current information about ALL library programs. FREE training for the 3D printer and memory lab is offered by the library Tech Tutor.

Please note: all sorts of tech support is offered FREE of charge by appointment with the library’s Tech Tutor. Please see this page for details.

Residents of Mississippi Mills and library card holders throughout Lanark County may join the Mississippi Mills Public Library at no charge. Obtain a library card in person at the Almonte or Pakenham branch or by phone or email.
