Science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) programs & materials promote lifelong learning

STEM kits & technology items build necessary skills. Borrow materials via the Library of Things (where borrowing rules are listed for each item). Read the Lanark Libraries STEM Program 2024 report.

The library also has sets of STEM equipment for in-library programs as well as a 3D printer and a Memory Lab (to convert photographs and videos to digital formats).

All STEM programs fill up quickly! Subscribe to the library email newsletter to get current information about ALL library programs – and watch the library Facebook page. FREE training by appointment for the 3D printer & memory lab is offered by Tech Tutors. Please see this page for details.

Residents of Mississippi Mills and library card holders throughout Lanark County may join the Mississippi Mills Public Library at no charge. Obtain a library card in person at the Almonte or Pakenham branch or by phone or email.

Thank you Elizabeth Kelly Library Foundation for supporting library STEM programs!
