Support your library, strengthen your community

Mississippi Mills Public Library is a registered charity. Your donation supports library programs, services, collections, and community initiatives for residents of all ages. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $20 or more and are mailed to donors. Please include your full mailing address and your telephone number with your gift.

Securities & Mutual Funds directly through your financial institution

Give in a tax-efficient way by donating stocks, bonds, or mutual funds directly to the Library. In most cases, you pay no capital gains tax on appreciated securities, and you receive a charitable tax receipt for the full fair market value. This maximizes your gift to the Library while increasing your tax benefit.

Securities can be transferred directly to the Library’s investment portfolio (held at RBC Dominion Securities). Transfer instructions and forms are available for your brokerage firm.
