2 Staff Picks, both from Canadian authors!
  • Finding Flora by Elinor Florence – All she ever wanted was a home of her own… and she will risk her life to keep it. What Brenda had so say: “I have to share how much I enjoyed reading this book. It was really well written. The four women each overcome numerous challenges in establishing their livelihoods in 1905 Alberta. I strongly recommend it!”
  • Liberty Street by Heather Marshall – Inspired by true events, it is at once poignant and dazzling–an unforgettable, intertwining story about resilience, mental health, and the power of female connection. What Judi had to say: “I can’t say enough about it. I couldn’t put it down. It’s gripping in a horrifying way. The author’s notes at the end were fascinating. A definite must-read!”
