    Get a library card

    Local Residents

    Library cards are FREE for residents of Mississippi Mills. Get a card at either branch. Bring one piece of photo ID & proof of residency. To register for a library card online, please fill out this form and attached proof of ID/residency. All family members can get a card! Under age 14, need a guardian for ID/residency proof.

    Lanark County Residents

    Library patrons in Lanark County (Beckwith, Carleton Place, Lanark Highlands, Perth, Tay Valley, Montague and Drummond North Elmsley) may join the library at no charge. (This was exciting library news in March 2021) Residents must have a valid library card from their home area library in order to receive a card at Mississippi Mills Public Library (MMPL). Visit a MMPL branch or use the online form above.

    Out of Region Residents

    An annual user fee applies to out of region individuals wanting to join MMPL. Adult: $30 Child: $10 Family: $45 More info: almontelib@missmillslibrary.com
