March Travelogue: Newfoundland and Labrador.  March 25 at 7:00pm – Almonte branch.
Newfoundland and Labrador has some of the most scenic and unusual features in the country. Join Pat & Bob as they walk the earth’s crust of 400 million years ago, enjoy the rugged coastline, marvel at the rare plants and rocks, see icebergs up close, and watch whales, puffins and moose.
This travelogue is a bit more casual than usual: The regular Q&A will follow Pat & Bob’s presentation, but space & time will also allow other attendees to present their short stories, photos and travel tips about Newfoundland and Labrador. No registration required.

Thank You!!! We are grateful to the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) for their generous donation in support of children’s literacy and programming at the library. Their contribution helps us continue offering engaging story times, creative workshops, and learning opportunities that inspire a love of reading in our youngest community members.

Thank you for investing in our children and in the future of our community!

March Break is the perfect time to get those older kids at home reading to the younger ones. Can the big siblings help the little ones with reading 1000 Books Before Kindergarten???
The challenge is on! This little kiddo has already completed 100/1000 books! Come on in to the library or check out our website to learn more: https://www.missmillslibrary.com/current-programs/
