Ottawa Cohousing is hosting a Gingerbread Village Crafting at Almonte branch library, large meeting room, Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2pm!

Gingerbread, icing and candy are supplied. A family friendly event, bring kids, cousins, grandparents, a friend or two… This is a drop by, Pay What You Can event (suggested $2-$10 at the door), but no one turned away for lack of funds.

The library’s subscription to the Globe and Mail returns! Drop by our cozy spaces to read a newspaper, magazine or… a book!

The Angel Tree at Pakenham branch’s 40 tags were all taken and fulfilled thanks to the generosity of the Pakenham community, including Kindergarten classes at Pakenham PS, Pakenham Daycare staff, and many others.

Lanark County Interval House & Community Support gift donation bins at the Almonte library have also been consistently full of donations from the Almonte, Pakenham & Ramsay communities. Donations to the bin of unwrapped, unused gifts are being accepted until Dec. 15. Thanks so much! More info on holiday giving to Interval House here.
