December Travelogue – New Zealand! With Cathy & Bruce Reside
Wednesday, December 11, 7-8:30pm, Almonte branch. Please register here.

The little brother to big brother Australia, New Zealand has a lot to offer. You can’t improve on mother nature, which New Zealand has in spades. Plenty of interesting city life too. Cathy & Bruce Reside travelled the North and South islands by car with Heather & Ian Douglas in February 2024. The trip included among many things, learning about the Maori culture, cycling the Alps to Oceans trail, wilderness whitewater rafting, hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, visiting Lord of the Rings’ Middle Earth and touring Milford Sound by boat. The physical activities on this vacation can be toned down or amped up to be made suitable for all travellers. The trip was capped off with a few days in Sydney, Australia on the way home.

Inter-library loan services are temporarily suspended due to the Canada Post labour dispute.
