The Festival of the Wild Child takes place August 24, from 10am – 4pm, at the High Lonesome Nature Reserve located at 867 Carbine Rd., Pakenham ON.

MMLT’s most popular annual event returns! This year’s theme is “Be a Wild Child. Roar Against Climate Change.” Share some amazing nature experiences with friends & family. Attend the festival for a variety of activities including guided nature walks, a story walk trail (thanks MMPL, a few details here) scavenger hunts, and much more!

The event has biologists, naturalists, and researchers on hand to show you pollinators in the meadow, frogs in the stream, porcupines in the trees, and beavers in the pond. The event is FREE for children under 16 and $10 for adults.
