THANK YOU!!! The Friends of MMPL Book Sale was a massive success – and has the distinction of being the biggest fundraiser in the history of the Friends!!! After expenses, nearly $10,000 was raised!
The Friends and Library Staff would like to acknowledge and congratulate the hard work of the Book Sale Committee – Susan, John, Connie, Danielle, and Patrick, who worked tirelessly for 2 months to pull it off. Thanks also go to the other Friends of MMPL, merchants in town, and the Mississippi Mills community who gave such great support! You all rock!
A festive Christmas book sale with some ready to give books and book sets is happening on December 5, 6, and 7 in the Rexall Mall (same place as the book sale). Details will come!
