Annual FRIENDS’ book sale continues!

Don’t miss the Friends of MMPL book sale!
2nd weekend – Friday, Oct. 25 from 2-8 pm & Saturday, Oct. 26 from 10am-4pm – is not just “left over” books: boxes are stocked with many books that weren’t out the first weekend! Location: Rexall Mall, Ottawa Street, Almonte ON – follow the signs! Books are by donation, cash only. All proceeds go towards funding library programs!

Bridging Generations – Age Friendly Pakenham & Home Hospice North Lanark: Age Friendly Speakers Series
Tara Cohen, MSW, RSW, Program Manager of the Champlain Hospice Palliative Care Program, shares tips on Recognizing Burnout and Staying Well – and Lanark County Paramedic Services presents on Community Paramedicine and how paramedics are providing palliative care in our community.
