Come join our friendly knitting and crocheting group at the Almonte branch. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, everyone is welcome, beginners to experts. We provide yarn and needles, or you can bring your own. It’s a great chance to learn something new, share your skills, or simply enjoy creating in good company. Drop in any Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM We’d love to have you!

Coffee Time is Back! ☕🍪

After a wonderful summer break, we’re excited to welcome you back to Coffee Time in Pakenham, starting again on Friday, October 3rd at 10 a.m. We’ve missed the laughter, the stories, and the sense of community that makes our Friday mornings so special.

Come and enjoy a cozy cup of coffee, some sweet treats, and great conversation with friends old and new. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time joining us, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and friendly company.

All welcome – 1st Sunday of the month at 10am – Almonte Branch meeting room

Greeting makers! A 3D print group has formed at Almonte branch. The purpose of the group is to bring together 3D print enthusiasts of all levels to collectively learn more about 3D printing. A group facilitator will provide some structure to the group, but the group will be able to define its own agenda. This is not a printing class: it’s a gathering of assorted like-minds where you learn by sharing. The session is scheduled for one hour but there is the option for follow up discussions afterwards. Come check out the group! Learn and share.

The library’s printer is a Prusa i3 MK3 that uses PETG filament. FREE 3D printing at the library is funded by the Elizabeth Kelly Foundation www.ekellylibraryfoundation.ca. The library’s Youtube channel has videos about choosing, using & maintaining a 3D printer, and click here for a few further resources.
