  • Suggest new teen programs
  • Volunteer at programs such as travelogues, technology workshops, and other library events
  • Write book reviews for our review blog
  • Create book or art displays and make recommendations to improve our teen spaces

Meetings are held in the Almonte Branch meeting room. To join call 613-256-1037. Don’t forget to check out the Group’s blogfacebook, and instagram!

Also, please check our special programs page for other events.

12 March – Local Hero is a small film to treasure. A loving, funny, understated portrait of a small Scottish town and its encounter with a giant oil company. A feel-good movie that is life-affirming, often laugh-out-loud funny and an absolute delight from the beginning to the ending.

First Wednesday of the month at 7 pm.

Come and meet your neighbours and share your love of books. Call 613-624-5306 for more information. Registration required.

The coffee is on at 10:30 a.m. and the speaker starts at 11 a.m. Everyone welcome.

Friday, March 27th – Using Ancestry to Build Your Family Tree

Friday, April 17th – Home Hospice Lanark North
Nancy Deschenes and Jan Watson, Chair and Vice Chair of HHNL

Every Friday Morning from 10:30 am – noon beginning Friday, December 13th

Come for a coffee and catch up with your neighbours or make a new friend. From time to time we will also be offering talks in the Feeling Good Series in this time slot.
