As a library patron you have access to free e-books and audiobooks through Overdrive / Libby or via the Ontario Library Service Download Centre.

Kanopy streaming TV

Musical instruments

Ukuleles are available at both branches.

Museum passes 

Visit a number of Ottawa-area museums free of charge.  Because of the limited number of passes at each library,  they are only available on a first come, first served basis.  NO Reserves & NO Renewals. MORE DETAILS.

Ontario park passes 

Available for the 2019-20 season.  As with Museum passes, because of the limited number of passes at each library,  they are only available on a first come, first served basis.  NO Reserves & NO Renewals.

Disc golf Frisbees 

Available at the Almonte Branch Library. Play a game of disc golf in nearby Gemmill park located at 186 Bridge St.


Available at the Almonte branch. They include a free pass to the Rideau Valley Conservation Area, plus books and items to help explore nature. MAPsacks go out for three days and are on a first come/first served basis.


Available to be borrowed for events in town. A refundable deposit is required. Call 613-256-1037 for details.

Puzzle swap

Come in and take a jigsaw puzzle or leave one for others.
