LEGO Robotics workshop

Cole Braden, from Steampunk Education, will lead participants as they use LEGO Spike sets to build a robot, use Scratch to code the robot & to complete the challenge, and solve structural and programming challenges.

This program is part of the Lanark Libraries STEM program and would not be possible without funding from the Elizabeth Kelly Foundation.


March Break movie afternoon: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem!

FREE program and free popcorn!! No registration, but room capacity is 30 people. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

About the movie: After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend, April O’Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.

Rated PG, this version is particularly tween-friendly, with little iffy content besides infrequent language and cartoon action violence.
