9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline is a national three-digit number for suicide prevention & emotional distress support.
Canadians, regardless of where they live, have access to 24/7/365, bilingual, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate suicide prevention and emotional distress support through phone and text. Kids Help Phone is also a partner in the 9-8-8 network. 9-8-8 is funded by the Government of Canada and delivered by CAMH – Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and their partners.
