Part of the “Community Gems series“, in her “Designing for Life” lecture, Paddye shares insights she’s gleaned from 45 years as a designer. The lecture is Friday, November 24, from 7-9pm at the Almonte branch library. Please register here, attendance is by donation.

Mississippi Mills Film Society presents To Kill a Tiger, on Sunday Nov. 26 at 2pm, at the Pakenham United Church. Tickets at ticketplease.ca. This film won TIFF’s Best Canadian Film award in 2022 and Best Feature Length Documentary at the Canadian Screen Awards this year. It is a NFB production. Profits made by the society are being generously donated to Almonte & Pakenham branch libraries.
