Ceremonies in Mississippi Mills:
- ALMONTE – Saturday, November 11 at 10:45 am at the Almonte Cenotaph. Organized by Almonte Legion Branch 240, a parade will form at the Legion on Bridge Street, to march to the Cenotaph next to Almonte Old Town Hall. The ceremony begins at 11 am and includes a wreath laying service. Refreshments and a light lunch will be served at the legion following the ceremony.
- PAKENHAM – Saturday, November 11 at 10:45 am at the Cenotaph in front of Pakenham Public School. This annual ceremony, coordinated by Pakenham Public School, includes a wreath laying ceremony. Military representatives and the Legion Colour Party will be in attendance. A light lunch will be served afterward at the school.
