The Camino de Santiago is the premier pilgrimage destination in the Western world. It is the end point of over 25 routes, located all over Spain and Portugal, varying from a few 100 km to over 1,000 km. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people, from all over the world, visit these routes. Following the legendary yellow arrows, they walk, bike and run the routes, arriving at the same destination, the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, in North Western Spain.
