March 25 is the first major MM Bicentennial event!

“Celebrate Almonte” day takes you on a journey through town, tests your local knowledge and offers the opportunity to win some amazing prizes!

This free, family-friendly event runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, March 25, and features “destination points” – one is the Almonte branch. At all destination points, passports are available, which include a map of Almonte, and trivia questions, which can be answered to win some amazing prizes from local shops.

MMPL launches a Community Art Project at this event too! Art for everyone! Visit either branch to participate – the art project will run until April 30.

The James Naismith puppet will visit Almonte branch during “Celebrate Almonte” and an exhibition of past & present photos of Almonte will be on display.  Get more more info about all the Celebrate Almonte destinations.
