Did you know Mississippi Mills Public Library (MMPL) has a “Memory Lab”?
The lab, located at the Pakenham branch, has all the tools & information you need to convert your old photos & videos into digital formats for preservation, ease of sharing and reproduction. At the lab you can:
- scan pictures, slides and film negatives
- record VHS tapes to DVDs
- edit videos and pictures
- record audio clips
Bring your own USB drive or blank DVD for storage. Blank DVDs with cases are available at the Pakenham branch for $2 each. The Lab is available any time Pakenham branch is open, but it’s best to call first, to make sure the lab is not already being used: 613-624 -5306 or email pakenhamlib@missmillslibrary.com. If you have a MMPL library card, you can use the memory lab!
