Mississippi Mills Public Library, Almonte and Pakenham branches, are currently looking for primary school students for its FREE summer literacy tutoring program. During July & August children meet with a literacy tutor every day for a two week period, five days a week, for one hour every day. During the session, the child receives individualized tutoring. Tutoring focusses on identified areas of concern, as indicated on an enrollment form. The program takes place at Almonte and Pakenham libraries at no cost. The library is grateful to be funded by a grant from the Elizabeth Kelly Library Foundation.
