MMPL staff recommend great books!
Judi says of the following books by Sujata Massey, “they are great stories featuring Perveen Mistry as the heroine and one of the first female lawyers in India. I really enjoyed these.”
Massey’s books are described as “Mysteries of 1920s Bombay.” They sounds awesome!

Another title that Judi just finished is Elisabeth de Mariaffi’s The Retreat (a new arrival, Pakenham Branch). It’s a good suspense novel. Log in to the catalogue and reserve it or other titles by de Mariaffi here.
