The Seed Library opens on Sunday, March 20th at the Almonte Branch and on Tuesday, March 22nd at the Pakenham Branch.

Quick facts

  1. The Seed Library is a community resource, open to everyone.
  2. You can access the Seed Library in both Pakenham and Almonte branches.
  3. Seeds are available while supplies last (usually March-June each year). We cannot guarantee stock or supply.
  4. At the end of the growing season, save your seeds to donate them back to the library. This creates an ongoing supply loop to fuel the seed library! How do you save seeds? Check into the seed resources below.

How to access seeds

Seeds are available on a first come, first-served basis while supplies last. You may borrow whatever amount of seeds you need, but please be mindful to leave seeds for others. Our seed collection may be browsed in-person at both branches.
