The library is looking for adult volunteers for our new Reading Buddy Program
If sharing your love of reading with an elementary school child sounds like something appealing, and you can commit a minimum of one hour a week, please contact Monica at mblackburn@mississippimills.ca
Reading buddies will read in the library branches (or outside the library in the nice weather!).
Volunteers need to fill out an application form. Candidates are interviewed. Training is provided. A vulnerable sector police check is mandatory.
