The Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library (FMMPL) is a fundraising group that works to support and promote the services of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. Run by dedicated volunteers, FMMPL helps the library meet its goal of creating a strong library community. The Friends have a new Facebook Group – MM Public Library Facebook Group – please join us if you are on Facebook!
We welcome your donations! If you want to support the Library by making a financial donation please contact friends@missmillslibrary.com. Please make cheques payable to Mississippi Mills Public Library. Cash donations can be made at either the Almonte Branch or the Pakenham Branch of the library. Any donation of $20 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Anyone is welcome to join FMMPL through annual membership of $10/person or $25/corporate membership. FMMPL is always looking for new, enthusiastic friends to help support their fundraising efforts. The Friends also run a small Marketplace at the Almonte branch – visit next time you are in the library – and are often at a table between 10am-noon at the Almonte Farmers’ Market on Saturday. Please contact friends@missmillslibrary.com to join today or download the Friends brochure and membership form here or the FMMPL Annual Report 2020 here.
